Yiler Huang
I am Yiler, I am 14 years old and I like to play video games, read mangas, and watch anime or movies and series. I am not so good at communicating, but somehow I think it is easier to talk to people online instead of face to face. I have two cats, one of them is ginger colored and one of them is black. I think they are both very cute. : ) I think the two things I improved the most this semester were my art sense and I could type faster on a keyboard now. I didn’t know how my art sense has improved but I could see the improvement from the homework I have done. The homework related to art I have done this semester seemed to look way more better, and I could align things and see if two colors match together using my eyes now. Another thing I have improved is my typing speed. I think it improved because the amount of code we needed to write in the programming homework this semester was more heavy and more content, and also because I am using a editor called Vim which Dr. Bell has recommended me. The reason why that made my typing speed faster is because it is very troublesome. You need to hit escape before copy or paste something and I think that made my typing speed a lot faster than last semester. I think people would live on the moon in about 2040, and I think only rich people would like to live there. I don’t really think people would want to live on the moon because first of all, there is no water on the moon so people who live on the moon might need to pay a lot of money to call NASA to deliver some essential supplies to the moon. Then, I think it would be very boring to live on the moon because there is literally nothing except stones and valleys on the moon. I think the only people who might want to live on the moon are Elon Musk and some Extremely rich hip-hop rappers. The reason why I think people would get to live on the moon by 2040 is because I think we would need a lot of preparation before we could send a lot of supplies or people to the moon. My favorite foods are sushi (especially tuna) and soba (the ones without soup). I think tuna sushi would be very healthy based on the information the nutritionist special speaker told us, because it has rice which gives you starch and fish which gives you protein and it is not oily at all. For soba, I think it is also pretty healthy because there is only noodles and sauce in this dish, and noodles could also give you starch and it is also not so oily. I think I learned some interesting skills like programming and designing here, so I want to say thanks to my parents who sent me here. I think the teachers here are all nice and patient to teach me. I think Dr. Lee is an interesting person because he is very humorous as a teacher and sometimes teaches us something about life experiences, and I also want to thank Dr. Bell taught me many interesting programming skills in these two semesters. I think Mr. Chen is always patient and also orders lunch for us sometimes.
