In order to meet the requirements of the smoothie challenge, the students were required to meet certain dietary requirements and also stay within some limits. To do this in a systematic and accurate way, the students wrote their own code to perform the necessary calculations. These nutrition calculators will not only allow us to make nutritionally appropriate smoothies, they can also be utilized to help maintain a healthy diet in the future whenever the students need.
