With a new colony in space comes the potential for new directions for society and systems. What would we want to accomplish in our new lunar colony? What would we like to provide for the inhabitants of this colony?

If we are to reimagine a government that best serves the needs of our new lunar colony, we may need to have an idea about what people of the past have done. This is to both learn from the advantages of some prior systems, but also to stay away from the problems and inefficiencies of bad examples. After some studying of current systems, we discussed some positives and negatives of each.

After discussing and determining the main goals of our lunar colony, we planned out some different sections that are necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the settlement. We tried to address all life-necessary requirements and also addressed some creature comfort details to ensure the smooth, efficient, and happy life of the citizens of the colony.
