Talking with Friends in Japan 與日本朋友聯誼

Food and culture are indivisibly intertwined. We shared our new-found knowledge of food and nutrition with our good friends at Doshisha International School in Kyoto and continued our semesters-long friendship. This semester, we talked about our eating habits in Taiwan and Japan, what school food is like, and the current COVID situation which has touched and affected all of our lives.

飲食與文化密不可分。我們與京都同誌社國際學校的好朋友分享了我們新發現的食品和營養知識，並繼續了我們長達一個學期的友誼。這個學期，我們聊了我們在台灣和日本的飲食習慣，學校的食物是什麼樣的，以及目前影響和影響我們生活的新冠疫情。

Our students partnered up with a friend at Doshisha International School and helped them practice their Chinese. We introduced our semester big topic, some of the details involved, and talked about a variety of topics that teenagers usually talk about. It would be super cool to welcome our friends over for a face to face visit once the worldwide pandemic situation calms down, and have promised each other that we will do just that! In the meantime, we wish all our friends in Japan health, safety, and happiness.

我們的學生與同誌社國際學校的一位朋友合作，幫助他們練習中文。我們介紹了我們這個學期的大話題，涉及到的一些細節，並談到了青少年通常談論的各種話題。一旦全球大流行局勢平靜下來，歡迎我們的朋友前來面對面訪問將是非常酷的，並且彼此承諾我們會這樣做！同時，我們也祝愿所有在日本的朋友健康、安全、幸福。
