Do you guys like worms? I think they are disgusting, but do you know, they are actually very helpful to us. So I will be telling you about what worms bring to us and how helpful they are.
Do you know there are many different types of worms? Each type has its own skills. There is one specific worm that can help with farming and turn food waste into fertilizer. There are more than 200 kinds of earthworms in Taiwan. Earthworms are classified according to where they live. They are divided into shallow, middle, deep, and aquatic earthworms. So let’s see what they do to help us.
These types of worms are rich in organic fertilizers, soil conditioners, and trace elements, known as the “King of Organic Fertilizers.” They also contain “Streptomyces”, antagonizing microbial pathology of plants. Can be eaten as bait, “Earth” mentioned in ancient Chinese medicine books, “Dragon” is also an earthworm, with clear heat and diuretic functions. Earthworms are hermaphrodites, allogeneic fertilization, sexually mature earthworms can reproduce once a month. They are also very helpful for plants and animals. Let’s see what they can do for them.
Earthworms are insects that are very beneficial to humans. Some plants pass through in order not to be eaten by animals. The body emits a foul odor and is also poisonous. Cattle and sheep will have bad stomachs if they eat it, but earthworms can. Their guts secrete “worm-breaking defensins” to eliminate the toxicity. They can be helpful for organic tea cultivation, organic fruit, vegetable cultivation, home potted flowers, greenhouse flowers, high-grade flower cultivation substrate, and much much more!
Now that we have seen how helpful Earthworms are, do you still they are bad? They can really help our body just by pooping. They might look very disgusting, but they bring a lot of help to farmers. You can also start planting your own little farm, you can also let those earthworms transform your stinky food waste to nutrients for soil!
