I think she is most surprised about stinky tofu, I am surprised she doesn't know this. I think it is because most people in Japan don’t like it, so it’s not famous at japan.

I ask her if she wants to try those foods, And she says she wants to try all of them, And I ask her about what’s her favorite food, And she says she likes Takoyaki and Strawberry Daifuku a lot.

3. Differences in the way that your partner talks or communicates compared to what you are used to in your friends around you

Because she talks in English, so I don’t feel a lot of differences, And she is very polite, so I feel like I need to be very polite too, I think it is because most of japan people is very polite.

4. What are two things you had trouble understanding when you were talking to your partner?

I think there’s nothing I don't understand, But when we are talking about food, she has some problems understanding it.

5. What kind of things do you need to remember and what kind of skills are needed for cross-cultural communication?

You need to be kind, And you need to have a language that can communicate with them, also remember let your partner feel comfortable talking with you.
