Success in the Eyes of Parents

In order to know what our parents think the definition of success is, we asked them how they think our “successful future” will be like.

The rest of my education	University	Taking part in big tests or getting licenses	Girlfriend	Living away from home	Getting a job	Going to the army	Getting married	Buying/getting a house?	Having children
Prepare for university	Study in a school I like	Pass the tests (IELTS, university test etc.)	Same religion	Learn how to cook	A job that I like	Be safe	Marry with someone with the same religion	She told me to not buy a house	She hopes I’ll take care of my child
fine my own interest	school can’t be too far from home	she hopes the test would be helpful	understands me	eat healthily	a job that can afford my life	study abroad so I don’t need to go to the army	have an independent life with who I’ll be married with married with	rent a house instead	be responsible for my child
be happy and study what I want	affordable school	get many different licenses	nice person	afford my own livings	a job that has offerings to the society	she hopes I’ll get used to the army	she hopes my future wife would understand me and be a nice person.	only buy houses if I am rich enough
