(Academic Report on Measurements of Success of an Individual/Student)
As human beings living in society, we are constantly bombarded by messaging about success, what it is, and how to gain it. We are shown examples of those who have supposedly achieved it, along with flashy and dramatic symbols of what supposedly comes with it. Our concepts of what we should be chasing, and the path that we should be following is greatly shaped by this messaging. Of course, another factor in this calculation of success comes from our own personal beliefs and values. What exactly do people think success is, and when can someone be said to have reached success? The students conducted research to bet a better understanding of this.
身為社會的一員，我們不斷被與成功相關的信息轟炸，包括何謂成功以及可以如何取得。我們觀察了成功人士的案例，以及伴隨成功而來的華麗且戲劇性的象徵物。我們對於應該追求什麼，以及該走的路，很大程度上都受到這些信息的影響。當然，計算成功的另一個要素來自於我們自身的想法和價值觀。人們究竟如何定義成功? 何時可以認定某人已取得成功？學生進行了研究，以更好地理解這一切。
