Genetics
遺傳學

This semester's science study gave students the theoretical and historical background which was necessary to consider the humanities theme of the semester. Students grappled with challenging real-world articles for adults, beginning with the basis of human life in DNA and then progressing through theories of evolution. Students examined the impact of these phenomena on aspects of human life, including the frightening history of eugenics and how genetics impacts determination of gender or mental health. They summarized the articles they read and tried to visually communicate the ideas in those articles. With this scientific foundation, they were able to increase the depth of their studies about worth, value, and society. Below you can find their summaries, graphics, and illustrations to quickly grasp the range of their studies in the semester.
