We are shown examples of those who have supposedly achieved it, along with flashy and dramatic symbols of what supposedly comes with it. Our concepts of what we should be chasing, and the path that we should be following is greatly shaped by this messaging. Of course, another factor in this calculation of success comes from our own personal beliefs and values. What exactly do people think success is, and when can someone be said to have reached success?
