Most of us adhere to one of the two main genders that we usually genetically fall into. This is one of the biggest choices that we are not allowed to make in life, although it shapes, restricts, and facilitates our growth and development throughout it. At the same time, we are given labels, have expectations placed on us, and are consciously and subconsciously guided and driven by the physical, mental, and social aspects of our gender. Traditionally, our worth as a human being has often been tied to our gender as well. Seeing as how most of us will only ever experience one side of this equation, the students performed studies and experiments regarding this topic to get a clearer and more-encompassing picture of how gender affects our lives and shapes our behavior.

我們大多數人就基因上來說，都可以被歸類為「男」或「女」這兩種主要的性別。出生時的性別是我們人生中無法自主選擇的重大抉擇之一，儘管它會塑造、限制和促進我們人生的成長和發展曲線。我們會因性別而被貼上標籤、被賦予期望，且行為上也會有意識、無意識地受到自身性別在生理、心理和社會因素上的引導和驅使。自古以來，一個人存在的價值也往往與性別息息相關。由於我們大多數人只能體驗作為其中一種性別的人生，因此為了能更清楚、全面地了解性別對我們的生活和行為的影響，學生們對此進行了研究和實驗。
