Biography of Yuna's Famliey Member

LiuYaHui(劉雅卉) is my grandmother, my daddy's mommy. She was born in 1951, in Chiayi. LiuYaHui is 71 years old right now. LiuYaHui has 2 parents. One is her native parent and her adoptive parents. Her original parents lived in the village next door to her adoptive parents. She has a non-biological(非親生) brother who was also adopted by her adoptive parents. The reason that her adoptive parents adopted them is that they don’t have children themself, so they adopted LiuYaHui and her non-biological brother. After she was adopted by her original parents, she misses her brothers and sisters in her original family every day. She graduated in elementary school. She grew up farming with her adoptive parents until she was 21 years old. She helps her foster parents farm, raise pigs, and then sell the pigs alive. Raise chickens, raise ducks and let them lay eggs. She helped to fetch water, chop wood, and cook.

At the age of 21, LiuYaHui began to study tailoring and began to work as a tailor. When she was twenty-four, she married her current husband, my grandfather. After that, she has 2 sons. At that time, She makes clothes at home and takes care of the kids. After her 2 sons became an adult, she still, making cloths. When she was young, she likes watching movies. After she is old, she likes to help her son with grandchildren, pray to Buddha, watch TV, slide the phone (FaceBook), and watch dramas. She likes to chat with her friends, and she is a volunteer at Tzu Chi right now.

Before she had two car accidents, one was hit by a motorcycle and the other was hit by a taxi. She also had surgery on her right arm, so her right arm is weak and fragile. She always taking about everything about Buddhism, and things about how nervous we were when my great-grandparents came to live in our house. She often told me to eat breakfast, after I am get hurt, remember to use the medicine, and put on a Band-Aid. She told me to sleep early, to adjust my daily schedule.
