first impressions and what you learned at the daycare center

Today, we visit the Elderly Daycare Center. Before I went to the elderly care centers, I thought the place would be bigger, and that place is helping take care of the old people. When I went there, I ask 2 questions to the staff. The first question is “If the old people need help, and the workers are not beside them how did old people call the worker to help them”. The second question is “Did the workers help old people order food, or they decide for themself.” For the first question, the staff told me that elderly people will get help from their friends when the worker is not beside them. If their friends can’t help them, then their friends will go find the workers to get help. After I heard this answer, I think that is really interesting. I thought that other people will just go find workers, because I have a little bit worried about if they help their friends, and they get hurt themself. For the second question, the staff told me that they will prepare the food for them, if the elderly people have something that they really want to eat, then they will see that can they eat the things that they want. If they can, then the workers will remember it, and prepare it for next time. If they can’t, then the workers will talk to the elderly people, to tell them that their body can’t eat the things that they want to eat.
