Steve: First Impressions and What You Learned at the Elderly Daycare Center

I thought that the elderly care center would be an old underfunded place. Which would be slightly unhygienic. However, it turned out that place was pretty well funded and had enough resources to go around. The place was super clean for a public facility and from what I see pretty well funded. That was very surprising to me. Even though that was quite positive, I did not like the person/guide very much. When I asked her about her line of work . What made her uncomfortable or disgusted she gave a useless and stupid answer. She said something like she was happy to be helping people and dodged the question. What the heck. Is she a politician or an elderly daycare worker? The thing that was worse was, she asked why I asked that question and I had to think hard for a reason. Obviously I could not say I needed content to write my reflection. Then, for my second question, what was her motivation for continuing because it made her happy? She just said yes. I was kinda annoyed but I guess she was unforgettable with my questions. Besides that, everything was quite positive. Even the people there were quite nice. Even the old folks there looked happy. They were also very welcoming. Even so, I don't know what to talk to them about. Maybe I should talk about politics, old people like politics right? I am assuming I can even communicate with them when I do not understand Taiwanese.
