Hi I am Steve.
I don’t have many past experiences with dogs or cats, because my family does not allow us to have dogs or cats. However, I have had smaller pets like fishes, but I thought they were boring pets. Before going to the animal shelter, I was also really scared of dogs, because I hated it when they tried to lick me and I have also been chased by a dog. The height of the dog that chased me was up till my shoulders when it stood up, and for some reason it started chasing me. From then on, I was even more scared of dogs, but the trip to the animal shelter helped overcome my fear and disgust for that specific habit of dogs.
我過去對狗或貓的經歷不多，因為我的家人不允許我們養狗或貓。然而，我養過像魚這樣的小寵物，但它們都是無聊的寵物。在去動物收容所之前，我也很害怕狗，因為我討厭它試圖舔我，我也被狗追過。追我的那隻狗站起來的時候已經到了我的肩膀，不知為什麼它開始追我了。從那時起，我更加害怕狗，但是，去動物收容所的旅行幫助我克服了對狗的特定習慣的恐懼和厭惡。
I realized that there are still animals that are being abused and it made me care more about animals and their condition. This semester, we also visited animal shelters and I thought the conditions there were very poor. There was feces everywhere and the place smelt really bad. After learning about these things, I felt that people should not buy dogs. People should adopt dogs so that they do not have to live in such a horrible environment.
我意識到仍有動物受到虐待，這讓我更加關心動物及其狀況。這個學期，我們還參觀了動物收容所，我覺得那裡的條件很差。到處都是糞便，這個地方聞起來很糟糕。了解了這些之後，我覺得人們不應該買狗。人們應該收養狗，這樣它們就不必生活在如此可怕的環境中。
This semester, I think my computer skills have improved. For example, before this semester, I only knew how to do simple coding like making programs that solve a specific kind of math question. However, now I know how to use more coding techniques like animating and classes.
這學期，我覺得我的電腦技能有了提高。例如，我的編程技能提高了很多，因為在本學期之前，我只知道如何進行簡單的編碼，例如編寫解決特定類型數學問題的程序。然而，現在我知道如何使用更多的編碼技術，比如動畫和類。
