Ad Hominem Fallacy
By Daniel Chen
Ad hominem fallacy means attacking the person instead of their argument. For example when me and my sister were arguing about making sound at last night but after few minute of conversation since her attitude is very bad I start to curse her “when I look at you I feel disgusting” to make myself feel better. Another example is when I tell my mom to not worry about me she start to saying things like me being a bad kid something like that. People use appearance, personal background, wealth… things like that to attack others to disturbing other people's emotions. Being influenced by an Ad Hominem attack can disturbing your emotions and overlook valid arguments, make biased decisions.
