Preliminary Ideas on Experiment Design for Influencing Behavior

Let people not stand so close to the street(讓人們不要站太靠近馬路，不要站在行人路道的邊邊).
In those articles, they find out that the reason that kids will run to the street is because they like to play and they don’t know enough about traffic safety common sense(對交通安全常識認識不足). Also, they might because when grabbing toys and other things, they will suddenly rush to the road(因為搶玩具等東西時會突然沖向公路). For young people, they have lots of travel opportunities and long distances because of their work or finding their friends. Young people are competitive(好勝心強), they will cross the road or walk side by side when cars are approaching, or ignore car honking. Old people’s vision and hearing get bad, it causes them sluggishness of movement, and unresponsiveness. It will be easier for old people to have traffic accidents. The article said, “老年人的另一個心理特徵是喜歡穿暗色、樸素的衣服，這些老年人在駕駛員的視野中就成為一個不易被發現的目標，特別是在夜間和傍晚，對老年人更為不利。” Most old people like to wear dark colored clothes. These elderly people become a target that is not easily found in the driver's field of vision, especially at night and evening. In my experiment, I think I can put a inverted triangle street sign(倒三角路牌), and inside the inverted triangle, I can put a people get hit by a car because they were too close to the road. I can put two of them to let people know that if too close to the road, it will be dangerous. The reason that put inverted triangle is because I do a research about it before, the shape like inverted triangle will let people feel dangerous.
