Steve: Analysis of Spending
My Conclusions
- I drink tea every morning on weekdays because I do not like to wake up early. During breakfast, I always eat some kind of sandwich. That might be because I do not like to try new foods.
- Usually when something is bought for me, I am the one who buys it. That might be because I spend money around school. I have also realised that when I buy something, I usually remember the price because all the boxes are filled in and have exact numbers in them.
- My lifestyle is very consistent. I usually buy food at 7:30, then eat lunch at 12- 12:30, then might buy another drink after lunch. After, I would take the bus to go home around 4:30. That might be because I do not like to try many new things.
Father Conclusions:
- The amount of money Steve spends each day seems reasonable and things he spends on also seem reasonable. From that I can conclude that he can be trusted with money.
- Steve really likes to drink tea and eat sandwiches. I can conclude that from those two being the only unchanged variable other than taking the bus.
- The data shown here is of one week. More data needs to be collected in order to make conclusions form the information. If data from more weeks was to be collected, there could more interesting comparisons that can be made. Doing this will also allow more to be learnt from the data. Also, this data may be misleading or be misrepresenting of the truth because it is only for one week and Steve is aware of this happening so, this might have affected how he spends money. In conclusion, he should go record more data.
