======Reasoning for Initial Supermarket Design======

Reason for my first layout design of my supermarket

  - **Fruit:** I put the fruit part in front of the door because when the customer goes inside the supermarket they will feel pressure if it has a big display in front of the customer.
  - **Dry food:** Easy to see, Convenient to let customers take, Dry food is an important reason why people go to the supermarket.
  - **Vegetables:** Let the customers know the vegetables are fresh, and easily accessible for customers as they enter the store.
  - **Dairy:** Dairy and vegetables are refrigerated so they are put together.
  - **Meats:** Meats, frozen foods, and seafood are together because they all need to freeze, also this way is more convenient.
  - **Frozen foods:** Meats, frozen foods, and seafood are together because they all need to freeze, also this way is more convenient.
  - **Seafood:** I do not really like seafood so I put that at the very corner.
  - **Snack*2:** Snack has the biggest space. The first reason is that I like snacks so I want snacks to have the biggest space, and The second reason is for all kids :)
  - **Health and pharmacy:** If you want to buy medicine, you should ask a professional person or store, But the supermarket still needs to sell some for trauma, like normal saline or band Aid. it is important.
  - **Electronics + Bakery:** It is not important, so do not need a lot of space.
  - **Pets + Household goods:** Small space, if people want to buy Pets or Household goods stuff, I think people will go to a pet store or Costco, there have more choices and it will also be cheaper. so they will not come to the supermarket unless urgently needed.
