+This semester we studied many things about photography. Students learned how to control exposure, how to compose their photos, and how to use accessories like lighting and tripods. They practiced taking different types of photos, including landscapes and portraits. In every case, they applied their knowledge of design principles to their photos both when shooting and when editing. After many different photography assignments, the students had developed a significant body of work. Through three different stages of critical review, they each chose the 25 images that best represent their efforts for the semester and have displayed them in their portfolios, which are linked to at the bottom of this page.
