Zoom, Batteries, and Power

The Zoom eats batteries quickly, but they can't be recharged by plugging your Zoom into a charger. You have to remove them first and put them into an external charger.

They require 4 AA batteries. If you run out, you can buy some in a store. You could even buy your own Eneloop charger and batteries like the ones that are used in the Zoom at the moment.

You can also connect it to a battery pack using USB. You just need the correct USB cable for the Zoom, which wants a USB mini B type plug.

You can use the AC adapter which comes with the Zoom to power it, but then you will need to stay close to a power outlet. It DOESN'T recharge the batteries.
