Hi! I'm Olivia.

I have had dogs in my family since I was young, so to me dogs have always been familiar and kind. When I'm with them, I often feel the sense of being healed. This is not just because they accompany me all the time, it's because of the spirituality that they show that makes me think that dogs can actually understand people's emotions. They will accompany you when you are sad, and sit quietly next to you when you are tired. They'll be sitting at the door for half an hour before you go out looking at you with their twinkling little eyes, I think these are the moments that makes me feel energy from them, so I hope that dogs will always be with me in my life.

我從小家裡就有養狗，所以狗狗對於我來說一直都是很熟悉也很親切的存在，和牠們的相處時，我時常感受到被療癒的感覺，這不只是因為牠們無時無刻的陪伴，更是因為牠們時不時展露出的靈性，這讓我常常覺得其實狗狗們是可以理解人們的情緒的，在你難過時來向你撒嬌，在你累的時候安靜地坐在旁邊陪著你，又或是在你出門前半個小時就坐在門口用閃爍的小眼神看著你，我覺得這都是我從牠們身上感受到能量的瞬間，所以我希望我的人生中能夠一直有狗狗的存在。

When we visited the Ruifang Animal Shelter this semester, I got shocking news. The staff at the shelter told us that the dogs in the shelter only had maybe one time for a walk, or maybe less than once a week, and it was normal. The dogs have people to raise them, they need at least two to three walks a day. There are many young puppies in the shelter, which makes me unable to imagine how hard their lives are, so it deepens my thinking and motivation to work hard to help dogs and issues.

這學期當我們去造訪瑞芳動物收容所時，我得到了一個令我震驚消息，收容所的志工們告訴我們在收容所裡的狗狗，一周只有或許不到一次的散步時間，而平常有人飼養的狗狗一天至少也需要兩到三次的散步時間，更何況收容所當中還有許多年輕的幼犬，這讓我無法想像牠們的日子過得有多麼辛苦，因此這也加深了我想要幫助狗狗的這份心，以及努力完成這次專題的動力。

This semester we conducted many classes about stray animals. One of them was a questionnaire survey. This class makes me receive a lot of opinions on this topic from various parties, and what is the public understanding of the situation of stray animals. In addition, we have done many artistic creations on the theme of dogs, such as 3D dog models, movie posters, IG posts, etc. I think these all are very interesting skills. For me, the thing I like is the movie poster. In the process of making the poster, I tried to use a picture to present a story. This is something that I have never touched before, so I feel very interesting, but besides the interesting. I also like this way of using pictures to create. This is because in the whole prosses, we will go through the three stages of discovery, sorting and presentation, so we can first show our imagination to the fullest. And then put the things we have together. And finally wait for everything to be clear and complete, then present it. I think this process is not only suitable for creating. It can also help organize thoughts and help thinking in normal times, so I enjoy this whole process very much.

這學期我們進行了需多關於流浪動物的課程，其中一項是進行問卷調查，這堂課程讓我接收到了許多來自各方的對於這個議題的看法，以及大眾究竟了解流浪動物的處境到一個什麼樣的程度。除此之外我們還有針對狗狗這個主題去做了許多藝術創作，像是3D dog模型、 movie poster 、 IG post等等，我覺得這些都是非常有趣的技能，對於我來說，我最喜歡的是movie poster，在製作poster的過程中，我嘗試著用一個畫面去呈現一個故事，這是我以前所沒有接觸過的事物，所以我感覺非常新鮮，但除了新鮮感之外我想我也很喜歡這種用畫面呈現的方式來創作，因為在這整個過程中，我們會經歷發現、整理、呈現三個階段，所以我們能先盡情的展現我們的想像力，再慢慢整理這些我們所發想出的東西，最後等一切都整理得夠清楚、夠完整之後，再將它呈現出來。我覺得這個過程不只適用於創作，在平常也能有助於整理思緒和幫助思考，所以我很享受這個整個過程。
