First Dog Illustration 狗狗插畫初稿

Continuing their development and practice in design and visual communication, as well as their skills in Inkscape image design software, one of the earlier tasks this semester was to draw dogs which met the criteria of “giving viewers a positive feeling about dogs”.

為延續學生們上學期在設計和視覺傳達方面的訓練與發展，以及增進他們對 Inkscape 圖像設計軟體的運用能力，本學期最初的任務之一就是繪製出會「讓觀賞者對狗產生好感」的狗狗插畫。

In addition to creativity, being able to work within set constraints and meeting outside specifications is an important part of the design process which we have been working on all year long.

過去這一學年，學生們不斷地在練習設計流程(design process)的運用。這樣的一個流程不僅挑戰他們的創造力，更是考驗學生能否在規定的框架內滿足外界的需求。

This assignment took the students through three or more iterations of work, each stage building upon and improving on the last, each incorporating feedback from various sources, yet always remaining true to individual expression.

在這項作業上，每位學生的作品至少都進行了三個版本以上的反覆修改，而每次的修改皆是在保有之前版本的優點及不失個人特色的前提下，針對許多不同來源的回饋進行改進。
