One day, Wally, a stray dog living in a small alley, was walking to a mountain. He had just finished carrying wood to help build a new building. So he wanted to get some fresh air and have a peaceful walk. While walking, he saw many things. He saw a deer, some insects that he hates, and some squirrels. Then all of a sudden, he saw a man lying on the side of the road. This man was around 20-25 years old. He was wearing a red shirt with jeans and had brownish hair. He was also on the ground breathing heavily. It was as if he had just finished running a marathon. He murmured, “Help… I… I am running out of breath.” Then, Wally could hear his heart beating. Thump. Thump. It continued for one minute. Then, there was a moment of silence. That was when Wally knew the man was dead. Suddenly, Wally remembered this man's face. He was Flash, one of the DC Heroes. Wally felt that he needed to report this incident to the police.

有一天，一隻名叫沃利的流浪狗，走到了一座山上。他剛搬運用來建造房子的木材,所以想安靜地散步，呼吸點新鮮空氣。一路上他看到了許多東西。像是一隻公鹿、一些松鼠、還有許多他討厭的昆蟲。突然間,他在路旁發現了一個男人. 這名男子大約20-25歲。他穿著一件紅色的襯衫和牛仔褲，頭髮呈棕褐色。他躺在地上很努力地呼吸。好像剛跑完馬拉鬆似的。他喘不過氣地說　｢救命，我…我快要不能呼吸然了」，沃利可以聽見他心臟快速地跳動，撲通撲通地持續了有1分鐘之久。然後緊接著迎來了一片沉默。這時，沃利知道他已經去世了。沃利湊近更仔細地看了看這名男子的臉，發現他竟然是 ＤＣ著名的英雄之一:閃電俠。沃利認為自己應向警察通報這件事。

Wally went to the police station because he needed to tell the police about Flash's death. Wally wanted someone to save him. As Wally sped to the police station, he felt like he could run faster than a bullet. Everything he saw was blurry. Before, it would have taken 30 minutes to get to the police station. Now it took only three minutes. Wally felt so happy because he could save many people using this superpower. Wally remembered when he was a puppy, his dad and mom were living with him until one day in the morning, there were a lot of dogs screaming and people laughing. Then he heard his dad and mom scream, “Hurry they will get you. Go hide in the mountains. GO! GO! GO!” Then there was silence. Dog catchers came that day and took his family away. Now that Wally had superpowers, he could run very fast and could save so many lives from the dog catchers.

沃利向警察局出發，因為他要向警方通報閃電俠的死訊。他希望警察可以派人去救閃電俠。當沃利在前往警察局的路上，他發覺得自己竟好像跑得比子彈還要更快。一路上所看到的事物也都變得模糊。原本要花30分鐘的路程，現在竟只需要3分鐘。沃利感到非常地興奮，因為他可以使用這個超能力拯救許多人。這也讓沃利想起了他幼時的過往。以前他的父母親一直與他同住，直到有天早晨，有很多狗在尖叫，而路旁的人們在嘲笑。在他聽見了父母親的大聲地對他說：「快點，他們會把你抓走你的。快躲到山上去。」之後，就沒再聽到父母的聲音了。現在的他在得到超能力後，可以非常快速地移動，並從人類的捕犬大隊手中拯救很多狗的生命。

The next day, Wally was walking to a restaurant to get food. On his way, he saw many people. Some were eating, some were playing in an open space, and he even saw some dogs with their owners. That reminded him how much he wanted to have an owner. To get to the restaurant, he also had to get through many alleys that looked creepy. While he was about to enter an alley, he heard many screams inside the narrow passage and started sprinting towards the origin of where the sound was coming from. Five people with bats were bullying a kid that was about 12-15 years old. The five bullies told him to give them money or else they would injure him very badly. When Wally saw it, he knew this could be the chance to use his powers and save people. He wanted to help the kid, but also, he didn't want to hurt the bullies. The kid refused and told them to kiss his butt. A second before the bullies hit him, Wally’s mind told him to take the kid and run away. He used his power and took the kid by putting the kid on his back and ran away. While they were getting away the kid shouted, “Kiss my butt suckers.”

第二天，沃利步行到了一家餐館取餐。一路上他看到了許多人，有的在吃東西、有的在空地上玩耍、有的則是狗主人正在和他們的狗玩耍。這讓他再次意識到自己也多麼想擁有一個主人。前往餐廳的路上，也必須穿過許多讓人毛骨悚然的小巷。正當他準備走進其中一個巷子時，他聽到狹窄的通道內傳來許多的尖叫聲，於是他向著聲音的來源開始衝刺。他見到五個人類正拿著球棒欺負一個大約 12-15 歲的孩子。這五個惡霸告訴小孩把錢交給他們，否則他們會用球棒傷害他。沃利知道這是一個他能使用超能力拯救人的機會。然而，他雖想幫助這孩子，但卻也不想傷害惡霸們。最終，他意識到只要帶著孩子逃跑不就好了。於是他用自己的超能力，把孩子放到背上，帶著孩子逃跑了。

After Wally saved the kid, he took him to a public area with a lot of people just in case he got bullied again. Before Wally left, the kid gave him a kiss. Then, he went to a park to get rest. He wanted to think about what just happened, did he do a good job of saving that person, did anyone get hurt badly? He was worried those bullies would spread the word that they saw a dog that ran as fast as Flash. After he finished resting he was going to walk back home. He then saw a stranger walk across the street even though it was a red light. Wally stood there till the light turned green. Then he walked. Again and again, he saw many people walking through the red light. Then he thought, why do I, a street dog, follow rules that humans make but still don’t follow themselves. I should be the one that doesn’t follow the rules. I shouldn’t even know when it is a green light or red light because I’m color blind. After he got home, he kept thinking and found an answer. He thought that humans mostly follow the rules and that when they don’t, they have a reason.

Wally realized that if people found out about his superpower, it would be a lot of trouble. In order to hide his identity as a superhero, he decided to go to an animal shelter. Until this day, he stays there hoping for a new family.

在救了孩子之後，他將孩子帶到了人來人往的公共場所，以防再次被欺負。然後他到了一個公園，邊散步邊想著剛才他在救人時，是否有做得不夠好的的放，有沒有人因此而受傷。他擔心那些惡霸們會散播看到了一隻跑得快如閃電的狗的消息。正當他準備回家，他看到有個人在過馬路時，闖了紅燈。他自己則站在原地，直到交通燈變綠。回家的路上，他一次又一次地看到有許多人闖過紅燈。然後他心想，憑甚麼我這個流浪狗為反而要遵守人類製定的規則，我才應該是可以不守規矩的那個，因為我是部分色盲，我甚至分不出紅燈和綠燈。回到家後，他不斷地思考，也終於想出了答案。他認為人類大多數還是都會遵守規則的，那些不遵守的人，他們肯定也是有他們的原因的。

沃利意識到如果有人發現他擁有超能力，可能會為他帶來很多麻煩。為了隱藏他超級英雄的身份，他決定躲到動物收容所裡。直到今日，他都仍在等一個真正的家。
