Brandon Chen's Crazy Dog Poster
by Ben
I don’t really know if my teachers and classmates will like it but I think that a spiky dog is not too crazy and not too not crazy. I decided on the pose when I was making prototypes. I had a dog that had a side view, front view and another front view except it was laying down. I used a blondish color for his fur and a black iris and white pupil. First, I had to make a sketch and I didn’t know how to use Inkscape so my dog just had shaped to make up his body part. Then I made a prototype that had 3 views. That was when I made a dog getting hurt during a war. I had to revise the prototype which I didn’t do much. I just added more details and showed that the dogs are still happy even though they are badly injured. Last, I had to make a final draft version 1 and a version 2. The first one had the laying view of the dog, it wasn’t badly hurt, and it had shapes as the background. In the final version, I changed the dog to a spiky hair dog with blonde fur and the background was him at the park. I learned that making a design for anything takes a long process and it is not easy for it to look good and be accepted by the person that is wanting it done.
