-What I thought about animals back then were that they were really cute and kind of fun to mess with when you're bored. They like to play around with you even though they don’t understand what you want from them. I have learned that the shelter actually keeps animals for more than 2 weeks in the shelter and they don’t put animals to sleep anymore. I also learned how hard a stray animals lives are, when we usually see the stray animals we think about how cute they are but never thought about their live and how they survive day by day. It's like a game to try to stay alive. I have grown to have more respect for animals in general. A lot of the stories of the stray dogs in the shelter really hit me and that I should have more respect because we don’t know what they are going through or what they are thinking. I have also learned that some animals that we mean to other animals have their own reasons and their own past and that we should also respect that. I should do that with people too, not just animals!
