Hi I'm rex, our whole class just finished a movie called Elysium, our teacher Dr Lee suggest our class to watch this movie in a different way, since he said that we all watch the movie in a different way, the way we watch movie together as a class is to pause whenever Dr Lee think that we should think and talk about whatever just happened in the movie, the reason we are doing this is because teachers think that if we're just watching a movie by using normal way, it's basically just having fun and relax, but that's not we should be doing on class, we should learn something and think about something and create value for ourself, so that we don't waste our time in school, but sometimes we still create some value when we are just watching a movie, we enjoy the movie and we might still learn something from the movie, whatever basically watching movies is for fun after you finishing create value. So the topic is Dr Lee make some question about the movie Elysium for our class, because there are too many question for us(the students) to write an essay about, so Dr Lee pick one which is more important for us to think about to write and essay, the question is “Should citizenship be “earned”? If yes, then how? If no, why?” so I will need to write an five paragraph essay about this question, I will first be talking about what does it mean to be a citizen and I will be talking about what can you do to be a citizen, and finally I will be talking about what I think about this main question “Should citizenship be “earned”? If yes, then how? If no, why?”.

Ok so I will be talking about what does it means to be a citizen of a country first, a citizen basically means a part of a country as a human, you can also say it as, subject, national, passport holder, native, taxpayer, voter, these are all the other ways to say citizen. So lets just describe every meaning of the words that we just talked about, “subject” what a subject means is, a tittle or the things that get controlled or the things that get conquer, so I think in this case it means, the people who are conquered and get controlled, because, as a citizen you are getting controlled by the government so that you can still be a citizen, if you break serious laws that government make, than you're not a citizen no more, so I think one of the reason citizen are also called as subject is because of this, so now one way to see if you are still a citizen of a country/state is to see if you done break serious laws. Ok so the second one is called national, this one is simple, national means things of this country, so basically what it means is, you are a part of this country, so you are national. Next, passport holder, as a citizen of a country you will own a passport of the country, passport can make you go through different country's gates, and is like an ID for every citizen, so that's basically why a citizen is also called a passport holder.

Next is native, native means you are the people from this country or in this country, and one more meaning is you born here, so that make you a native. One wat to automatic became a citizen is, you born there in that country, so that's why you as a citizen are also called a native. The next one is called tax payer, tax is the things that you pay to the government every single year, every one need to pay different taxes to the government, if you get more money you need to pay more tax to the government, the reason is like this is because the government think if you can get more money you should take care of the people who are disadvantaged groups because they might be not abled to work, ok so the reason a citizen can also get called as a tax payer is because citizens have to pay taxes for the government to build stuff or doing stuff that need money and is for the country, so people that are citizen for the country have to pay tax. The last one, the voter, all Democratic country will have election, and as a citizen of a democratic country, you can vote for your own right, that's why as a citizen you can be called as a voter too.

Ok so I just talk about all kind of different ways to called a citizen, all these names connect with citizen, so you can see, to be a citizen, you are basically getting controlled by the government of the country, cause if you don't than what's the point for them to keep you in the country, and as a citizen you are a part of the country, and, you will own a passport, and you are able to vote, and you have to pay taxes. So do you know what a citizen means? A citizen means “the position or status of being a citizen of a particular country.” It basically means you are a people in a country. So to the main question, do you think citizen ship should be earned? For me, I really don't know if it should be earned or not, cause it seems like they're both ok, for me if is yes it should be earned, is because if people work hard for the country or they pay to become the citizen than why not just let them become the citizen, and if the answer is no the citizenship shouldn't be earned is because the citizen should be native and you should be a citizen because you born there, it's kinda weird if you just work or pay for it than everyone can became different countries citizen. So for me is both ok

Elysium is a good movie to watch, and it's very realistic, it emerge the problem and what's happening in the reality, and this movie tell me is important to learn more when you still have time to learn and you need to be able to change when the society is changing you will need to change, because in the future the world is different for sure, the technology is improving fast, if you don't learn more don't get better than the robot or the computers than you will have no work to do, than you become homeless and you died so is really important to get more different important skills. after finish this movie I'm thinking about one thing, “is strong technology and robot really a good thing”

好吧，我只談各種不同的稱呼公民的方式，所有這些名字都與公民聯繫在一起，所以你可以看到，作為公民，你基本上是被國家政府控制的，因為如果你不知道他們把你留在這個國家有什麼意義，作為公民，你是這個國家的一部分，你將擁有護照，你可以投票，你必須納稅. 那麼你知道公民是什麼意思嗎？公民是指“作為特定國家公民的地位或身份”。這基本上意味著你是一個國家的人。所以對於主要問題，您認為應該獲得公民船嗎？對我來說，我真的不知道該不該賺，因為看起來他們都還好，對我來說如果是就應該賺，是因為如果人們為國家努力工作或為成為公民而付出代價，那麼為什麼不讓他們成為公民，如果答案是否定的，則不應獲得公民身份，因為公民應該是本地人，而您應該是一個公民，因為你出生在那裡，如果你只是工作或支付它有點奇怪，因為每個人都可以成為不同國家的公民。所以對我來說都可以

Elysium 是一部值得一看的好電影，它非常逼真，它會出現問題以及現實中正在發生的事情，而這部電影告訴我，當你還有時間學習並且需要能夠改變時，了解更多信息很重要社會在變化，你需要改變，因為未來世界肯定會不同，技術進步很快，如果你不學習更多，就不會比機器人或計算機更好，你就沒有工作要做，比你變得無家可歸和你死了所以獲得更多不同的重要技能真的很重要。看完這部電影我在想一件事，“強大的技術和機器人真的是一件好事嗎”
