==== Essay about my planet ====

"A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away..." (Lucas,1997) In one of the projects of this semester, we have an exercise about designing our own planet to learn what kind of life there will be on a different planet. We also did some researches, so, I am something of a semi-expert now. In this essay, I will tell you what kind of planet I designed, and introduce you the inhabitant and a little bit of the stories about the planet.

My planet is named Solitudinem, which means desert and loneliness in Latin. The planet is the only planet in its solar system, and very luckily that it is inside the habitable zone of the solar system. On the planet, there are over ninety seven percent of lands are desert. The reason why is that, very unfortunately there has been many asteroids crashed on this planet, and made the planet from a beautiful planet to a lonely desert. After that, the asteroids separated to three parts, and became three moons of Solitudinem under the effect of gravity.  

On the planet, there were some people, but many of them are nomads. There are not as much people as Earth, the population is more than 3 times less than Earth. Even so, the Solitudinem is bigger than the Earth, so it is very hard to find people on Solitudinem. Because of that, people on Solitudinem often stay together as many villages, so people there could trade, work together, but sometimes fight. They skin color of people on Solitudinem are mostly dark red, and many of them have blue eyes except for some special people. The technology level is very high, even higher than the Earth, but that couldn't save the people from lack of natural resources. So the population didn't increase much even if they have good technologies.

At last, I want to tell you about the solar system of Solitudinem. The sun of Solitudinem is very big, it is about 4 times bigger than the sun in our solar system. The sun is a new born star, it is big so it has strong gravity power. But Solitudinem is still the only planet in its solar system. Solitudinem has lives on it because it is far away from the blue sun, and the thick atmosphere around the planet. It is a livable planet but the average temperature is still about 5 to 6 higher Earth's.

Now, I have introduced you a planet in a galaxy far far away, including the planet in its solar system, the planet itself, and the people on the planet. I think it is interesting to create a new planet, because you can learn something you didn't knew about our universe. I also want more people to know these interesting things I have researched, so I hope someone seen this article can make the story of this planet into a movie, to let more people learn about the information of Universe. In order to make that a movie, if you want, you can start to save money from now for making the movie. Because making a movie really cost a lot.
