John, a pre-high school student, really needed a high-quality laptop. Before this summer, he had been through a lot. He had done the research on building a laptop, collected all the information he needed, and already bought the gaming mouse he wanted. He also accomplished some of the promises he made to his mom, did his best at school, finished his projects, and did rather okay on some of his tests. After facing all those challenges, the time had come. On the first day of summer vacation, John talked about building this laptop with his mom. She waited for a moment, brought out some cash, and said: “Because you didn't accomplish all, that's all you can have.” John didn't try to complain to her. In fact, he knew that his mother worked hard and wanted money, also he had his own plan.

The next day, John summoned his friends to go to the place that sells some parts of the laptop. With the help from his friends, each of them gave him one part of the laptop. Plus the money that he earned, he finally had his own laptop.

As he and his friends worked together, John felt like everyone was watching him. He wondered if everyone noticed every step he took, every small mistake. But despite that feeling, John's hard work and cleverness paid off, and he got his laptop.

John had to accept that this achievement was not just about the moment of getting the laptop, but about the weekend spent with his friends and the journey they shared. This experience was something they would all remember, a common bond formed through teamwork. In the end, John realized that he could handle whatever came his way, thanks to the support of his friends.
