Our upbringing often tells us that each individual in the world holds their own unique value, and that this value is not something that can be measured objectively. While most of us would morally agree with this statement, we nevertheless consciously and subconsciously measure the worth of others on a constant basis. In order to illustrate this issue for further discussion, we created a calculator which weights certain big traits as described by the general public as being important factors which contribute to the value of an individual and will "measure" the value of people. 在成長過程中，常常有人告訴我們世界上每個人都擁有獨特的價值，且這種價值不是可以客觀衡量的。雖然基於道德，大多數人會同意此說法，但人們仍在有意識或無意識地不斷衡量他人的價值。為了對此議題進行進一步的討論，我們創建了一個計算器，它會根據大眾所提供評斷他人價值時的關鍵要素，來「衡量」一個人的價值。 This may certainly be a controversial and possibly disliked way of looking at this issue, but it is the reality on which many parts of our society operates, from school acceptance standards to employee hiring practices. This calculator attempts to somewhat accurately show the standards of society today in action, providing another point with which we can discuss the beliefs and values of the world today.
