This is my preparation for shooting pictures for my poster about apples.
Target is teenaged nerdy males
Main part that will be targeted in the poster is self actualization, esteem, belonging. These are the needs I chose to target because, it is easier and more possible for me to target these than something like physiological needs.
belonging: Teenagers usually care about having friends. They usually care about what people think about them.
Esteem: Some teenaged nerds have very low self esteem because they might not fit into any friend group at
Self actualization: They want to be the best at what they are interested in. Some might be interested in gaming, sports or grades.
The truth about the world I want the target audience to believe is that apples can make up for bad hardware. This belief stems from the idea that enhancing gaming abilities can facilitate the achievement of self-actualization and esteem. The pursuit of self-actualization arises from gamers' desire to become the best they can be, while underperforming may negatively impact their self-esteem.
Tag line ideas: Not having the correct tools is just and excuse. Eat apples to improve you, every part of you the greatest tool you have.
Sometimes you are the most reliable and powerful tool you have. Upgrade it exponentially for a cheap price by eating apples.
The color palette I plan to use is black, blue, red because these colors are “gamer colors”, and these things will bring hardcore gaming to mind.
Apples subject. Black mat to contrast apples on. Red and blue light to create got a power up and leveling up effect. Power ups in games are often brightly colored in strong colors like yellow or red. I chose blue and red because they contrast well with each other and are on relatively opposite ends of the color spectrum.
These props will be used to convey the likeness of video gaming and gaming. The controller will help people associate the poster with gaming, while the fruit stand will help people connect it with video game power-ups.
