Notice that the Audacity developers say that "It is not suitable for individual clicks and pops, or irregular background noise such as from traffic or an audience." You can still try, but the results probably won't be great, and it's likely to affect the audio in other ways that you don't want, like changing the character of the sound. Still, it's a great tool! ===== text ===== audacity manual on noise reduction: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/noise_reduction.html advice on noise reduction with audacity: https://www.zdnet.com/article/how-to-remove-background-noise-in-audacity-for-better-sounding-podcasts/ similar: https://www.buzzsprout.com/blog/remove-background-noise-audacity ===== video ===== this video walks you through the steps of using noise reduction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IV5jN_bv7cc one more, similar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnEWfAEONTA audacity-noise-reduction.txt Last modified: 17 months agoby renick Log In
